SEARHC — Craig Community Health Center
SEARHC operates the Craig Community Health Center serving the Prince of Wales-Hyder Census Area. Craig is the largest community on Prince of Wales Island, accessible by ferry from Ketchikan. Developmental screening can be initiated locally; comprehensive autism evaluations require the ferry to Ketchikan (~2–4 hours) or a flight to Ketchikan or Juneau.
Craig is the main hub on POW Island. Ferry access to Ketchikan makes specialist travel more feasible than many AK rural areas. SEARHC serves Alaska Native and all community members.

In-person ABA is not available on Prince of Wales Island. Telehealth ABA parent training from Ketchikan-area or Anchorage-based BCBAs is the primary behavioral support option. Alaska Medicaid covers ABA telehealth. Ketchikan's relative proximity makes it a practical travel destination for intensive services.
Ketchikan is accessible by ferry — some families travel for in-person ABA. Telehealth is the baseline. Ask PARENTS, Inc. for current referrals.
