SEARHC's health center in Yakutat is the primary care facility for this remote Southeast Alaska coastal community. Yakutat is accessible only by air — no ferry or road connection. All comprehensive autism evaluations require flying to Juneau (~90 miles southwest, ~30 min by air) or Anchorage. SEARHC coordinates telehealth with Juneau and Anchorage specialists for developmental follow-up.
