Mat-Su Regional Medical Center in Palmer is the primary hospital serving the fast-growing Matanuska-Susitna Valley. Pediatric services here can provide referrals for developmental evaluation. Many Mat-Su families use Anchorage specialists given the borough's proximity to the city (~45 minutes from Palmer to Anchorage).
Mat-Su is Alaska's fastest-growing area. Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage is the nearest comprehensive developmental evaluation center.

Infant Learning Program — Mat-Su
The Mat-Su Infant Learning Program provides Part C Early Intervention services to children birth to 3 in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough. Services are delivered in-home and in community settings across the valley including Palmer, Wasilla, and surrounding communities.
FREE Part C EI services. Referrals accepted from anyone — self-referral welcome.

PARENTS, Inc. is often the most important first call for Fairbanks families navigating the school system.
