CHRISTUS St. Vincent in Santa Fe is the primary hospital for Santa Fe County families. Developmental pediatric concerns are evaluated locally and complex autism assessments are coordinated with UNM Children's in Albuquerque (~60 miles south).
For comprehensive autism evaluation, Santa Fe families are typically referred to UNM Children's in Albuquerque (~1 hr drive).

New Mexico Highlands University — Psychology Services
New Mexico Highlands University in Las Vegas NM may offer psychology practicum evaluations and referrals. While not a full developmental pediatrics program, NMHU's department can provide initial screening and connect families to UNM CDD (Albuquerque, ~65 miles west) for comprehensive autism evaluations. Las Vegas NM's proximity to Albuquerque is a relative advantage for northeastern NM families.
NMHU psychology programs may offer community screenings. UNM CDD in Albuquerque (~65 miles west via I-25) is the recommended destination for comprehensive autism evaluations.
