Harding County is one of the least populated counties in the United States with no hospital and no local specialist services. Mosquero families seeking autism evaluations must use telehealth through UNM Children's Hospital or travel to Tucumcari (Quay County, ~85 miles south), Las Vegas NM (~90 miles west), or Amarillo TX (~140 miles northeast). Telehealth is the strongly recommended first step.
One of the least populated counties in the US. No local medical specialists. Tucumcari, Las Vegas NM, or Amarillo TX are the nearest medical hubs depending on direction.
