Corning Hospital, part of the Guthrie Health system, is the primary hospital for the Corning area of Steuben County. Developmental pediatric screenings and referrals are available for autism concerns. Comprehensive evaluations are referred to Golisano Children's Hospital in Rochester (1.5 hours north) or SUNY Upstate in Syracuse. Guthrie's telehealth network also offers evaluation access.

Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville, part of the UR Medicine network, is the primary hospital for Allegany County. Developmental pediatric screenings and referrals are available for autism concerns. For comprehensive evaluations, families are referred to Golisano Children's Hospital in Rochester (1.5–2 hours north) or UHS in Binghamton for southern county families. Telehealth evaluation options are increasingly available.

Steuben County's Early Intervention program provides free evaluations and services for children birth to age 3. Coordinated through the county Health Department in Bath, EI serves Corning, Hornell, and rural communities across Steuben County. In-home service delivery is standard.
