Wyoming County Community Health System — Developmental Referrals
Wyoming County Community Health System in Warsaw is the county's primary hospital. Comprehensive autism evaluations require travel to John R. Oishei Children's Hospital in Buffalo (~45 min west) or Golisano Children's at URMC in Rochester (~45 min east). Wyoming County's location between Buffalo and Rochester gives families access to two of western New York's best pediatric autism programs.
Both Oishei Children's (Buffalo, ~45 min) and Golisano Children's (Rochester, ~45 min) are excellent evaluation options. Contact both simultaneously to compare waitlists.

Wyoming County Early Intervention Program
Wyoming County's Early Intervention program provides free evaluations and services for children birth to age 3 with developmental delays or early autism signs. Coordinated through the county Health Department in Warsaw, EI service coordinators develop an IFSP and support transition to CPSE at age 3. The county draws from both Buffalo and Rochester area EI provider networks.
FREE for eligible children. Wyoming County EI can connect families to providers in both the Buffalo and Rochester markets.

Applied Behavior Analysis therapy — typically requires insurance authorization.

BlueSprig Pediatrics — Western NY (Wyoming County)
In-home and center-based ABA therapy serving Wyoming County through the Western New York network. Wyoming County's mid-corridor location between Buffalo and Rochester gives families access to ABA providers in both cities. Accepts commercial insurance under New York's ABA mandate and NY Medicaid for eligible children.
NY ABA insurance mandate applies. Both Buffalo (~45 min) and Rochester (~45 min) ABA markets are accessible from Wyoming County.

The Autism Society of Western New York serves Wyoming County families through parent support groups and resource navigation. Warsaw-area families connect to the Buffalo chapter network (~45 min west) and can also access the Rochester chapter (~45 min east). Virtual programming is available for those who cannot travel.
Both WNY (Buffalo) and Rochester-area chapters serve Wyoming County. Virtual participation also available.
