Riverside County is a sprawling inland county served by the Inland Regional Center (IRC) for developmental disability services and the Riverside County Office of Education (RCOE) SELPA for school-age special education. Loma Linda University Medical Center and Desert Regional Medical Center provide pediatric developmental evaluations. California requires commercial insurance to cover ABA therapy, and the IRC — like all California Regional Centers — funds services without an income limit or waitlist for eligible individuals.
