W.W. Hastings Hospital — Cherokee Nation Health Services
W.W. Hastings Hospital in Tahlequah (Cherokee County) is the primary hospital of the Cherokee Nation and the main regional referral resource for Adair County families. Cherokee Nation Health Services provides developmental pediatrics and can coordinate autism evaluations for tribal members and eligible beneficiaries.
Adair County has one of Oklahoma's strongest Cherokee Nation presences. Tahlequah is approximately 30 miles northwest of Stilwell.

SoonerStart — Oklahoma Early Intervention (Adair County)
SoonerStart provides free early intervention for children birth to age 3 with developmental needs throughout Adair County. Services are coordinated in natural settings including home and community, with cultural sensitivity for the county's significant Cherokee population.

Applied Behavior Analysis therapy — typically requires insurance authorization.

ABA Pathways of Oklahoma — Telehealth ABA (Northeast OK)
ABA Pathways of Oklahoma provides Applied Behavior Analysis therapy with telehealth options for families in rural northeast Oklahoma including Adair County. Cherokee Nation Behavioral Health may also provide ABA coordination for eligible tribal members.
Cherokee Nation Health Services Behavioral Health department may provide additional ABA coordination.
