Tama County families in Toledo and Tama access developmental services through UnityPoint Marshalltown (~20 miles). For comprehensive autism evaluations, families are referred to UI Stead Family Children's Hospital in Iowa City (~60 miles). Note that the Meskwaki Nation has tribal health services in Tama.
Meskwaki (Sac and Fox Tribe) families may also access tribal health services in Tama.
