DuPage County — home to Naperville, Wheaton, and Downers Grove — is one of Illinois's most populous suburban counties and has a strong concentration of ABA, OT, and speech providers serving the western Chicago suburbs. Indian Prairie School District 204, Community Unit School District 200 (Wheaton), and several other districts operate special education programs with autism supports. Illinois's Developmental Disability waiver (CILA/CDS) is administered through IDHS's Metro South region, and the Family Resource Center on Disabilities serves DuPage families for free IEP advocacy. Illinois's ABA insurance mandate ensures commercial plan coverage across the county.
