Magnolia Regional Medical Center is the primary hospital for Columbia County families in southwest Arkansas. Developmental screenings and pediatric referrals for autism evaluation. Comprehensive evaluations typically require travel to Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock (~130 miles north) or Shreveport LA (~80 miles south). Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia adds university community resources.
Southwest AR near the Louisiana border. Shreveport LA specialists are accessible and may be closer for some families.
