Wyoming overview
Wyoming's Medicaid HCBS waiver for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is administered through the Department of Health's Behavioral Health Division. Wyoming is one of the smallest states by population — the provider network is thin and families in rural areas often travel long distances for services. Apply through the Department of Health as early as possible. For early intervention, contact Wyoming's Early Intervention Program. The Wyoming Parent Information Center (WPIC) is the state's PTI center. Telehealth has significantly expanded access for Wyoming families outside Cheyenne and Casper.
Verify program names, URLs, and eligibility on official .gov sites — these change.
