Salt Lake County is home to Utah's two largest autism evaluation centers — the University of Utah ASD Clinic and Primary Children's Hospital — along with the densest concentration of ABA, OT, and speech providers in the state. Granite and Canyons school districts serve most of the county's school-age children; both have dedicated autism programs and specialized classrooms. DSPD's Salt Lake Valley Services office handles Medicaid waiver intake for county residents, and FEAT of Utah runs active parent support groups here year-round.
