Lehigh County (Allentown) is the Lehigh Valley's eastern anchor, served by Lehigh Valley Hospital for developmental evaluations. Allentown School District and East Penn School District provide special education programs. PEAL Center provides free IEP advocacy statewide. Pennsylvania's Early Intervention and Adult Autism waiver are available for eligible residents, and the Lehigh Valley has a growing ABA provider base.

Lehigh Valley Health Network — Developmental Pediatrics
Lehigh Valley Health Network's developmental pediatrics program serves the greater Allentown area. LVHN is the primary health system in the Lehigh Valley and provides autism evaluations for children across Lehigh and Northampton counties. One of the fastest-growing metro areas in Pennsylvania.
LVHN and St. Luke's are the two major health networks in the Lehigh Valley. Both offer developmental services.

Lehigh County Early Intervention Program
Early Intervention services for children birth to age 3 in Lehigh County administered through the county office. Evaluations and therapy services at no cost for eligible children with developmental delays or autism risk factors.
