McArthur · multi-county

Nationwide Children's Hospital — Telehealth (Vinton County)

Vinton County is Ohio's least populous county and one of its most rural — McArthur is the county seat with fewer than 2,000 residents. Nationwide Children's Hospital telehealth is the most practical autism evaluation pathway. Athens County (Ohio University) is approximately 25 miles east and provides some regional healthcare access. Columbus is approximately 70 miles northwest. In-person evaluation requires substantial travel — telehealth is critical.
