Akron Children's Hospital — Mahoning Valley Campus
Akron Children's Hospital Mahoning Valley campus in Boardman provides autism evaluations and developmental pediatrics services directly in the Trumbull-Mahoning region. Warren is approximately 15 miles north of Boardman, giving Trumbull County families excellent access to a major children's hospital. This is the primary autism evaluation hub for northeast Ohio outside of Akron and Cleveland.
Boardman campus is ~15 miles from Warren. Cleveland and Pittsburgh are also accessible for Trumbull families needing additional specialized evaluation.
Geneva
UH Geneva Medical Center — Developmental Pediatrics Referral
University Hospitals Geneva Medical Center is the primary local hospital for Ashtabula County. Families are typically referred to UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital in Cleveland for full autism evaluations, about one hour west on I-90.
Ask your pediatrician for a referral to UH Rainbow's developmental pediatrics or Akron Children's Hospital outreach clinics.
