Suffolk County (Boston) has some of the strongest autism resources in New England. Boston Children's Autism Spectrum Center is an Autism Treatment Network site and one of the nation's best pediatric programs. The Lurie Center at Mass General Hospital is nationally recognized for adult autism assessment — one of the very few programs in the country specializing in this. The Federation for Children with Special Needs is Massachusetts's federally funded PTI providing free IEP advocacy.
