Bonner General Health in Sandpoint provides pediatric care for north Idaho's Bonner County. Autism evaluations are referred to Coeur d'Alene (Kootenai County, ~50 min south) or Spokane, WA (~1.5 hrs). Sandpoint is a growing resort community with limited local developmental pediatric specialists.

Boundary Community Hospital in Bonners Ferry serves Idaho's northernmost county, just miles from the Canadian border. Autism evaluations require travel to Sandpoint (~45 min south) or Spokane, WA (~2 hrs). Bonners Ferry is one of Idaho's most remote communities for specialized pediatric services.
